Frequently Asked Questions
What is your current role?
I’m a Staff Data Analyst in Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ Finance & Business Operations Digital Transformation organization. I lead a portfolio of 17+ automation, AI/ML, and dashboarding projects across production, FP&A, Billings, Tax, and Compliance. I’ve been with Lockheed Martin since 2006 — 20+ years across Space Systems and Aeronautics.
Why do you have a clinical license and a data science career?
My M.A. in Counseling Psychology and M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology aren’t a detour — they’re a differentiator. The I/O Psych degree bridges behavioral science and organizational analytics directly. The clinical license gives me credibility in behavioral AI ethics, fairness frameworks, and human-centered design that most data scientists can’t match. For roles in responsible AI, trust & safety, and behavioral-health technology, this combination is genuinely rare.
Are you open to new opportunities?
Yes. I’m actively exploring senior data scientist, AI/ML engineer, and responsible AI roles where my enterprise production experience and behavioral-science background create the most value. Remote preferred; open to Colorado, Utah, and US Midwest.
What technologies do you work with?
AI/ML: LLM fine-tuning & evaluation, RAG pipelines, NLP (document parsing, classification), multi-agent systems, predictive analytics, Alteryx ML/NLP (large multi-stage workflows).
Languages: Python, SQL (SAP HANA, EDW), JavaScript/TypeScript, VBA, ABAP.
Data & Analytics: Tableau (17+ production dashboards), Alteryx (Core Certified), Power BI, Splunk, Grafana, Knime.
Cloud: Cloudflare Workers/D1/R2, Microsoft 365/Power Automate/SharePoint, FastAPI, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0.
What is Grounded Intelligences?
Grounded Intelligences is my professional portfolio and project showcase. It reflects the core principle behind my work: intelligence — whether artificial or human — is most valuable when it’s grounded in real-world context, empirical evidence, and ethical responsibility. The name bridges my data engineering work (grounded AI systems with RAG, evaluation, and guardrails) with my clinical background (grounded therapeutic approaches based on evidence-based practice).
What is the Aeronautics Top Team Award?
The Aeronautics Top Team Award is Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ highest team recognition, given annually to less than 1% of employees. I received it in April 2026 for my contributions to an enterprise trade-policy mitigation effort, which built the mitigation framework and real-time tracking system for evolving trade-policy changes, reducing enterprise cash impact by hundreds of millions of dollars.
